Hrund Gunnsteinsdottir was the Managing Director of Festa – Center for Sustainability in Iceland 2019-2023, which tripled in size under her leadership and become a unique stakeholder community in Europe, bringing together Iceland’s smallest and largest companies, municipalities, universities, the Environmental Agency and the Central Bank of Iceland. She is a former managing partner of the Nordic Circular Hotspot, is an investor and Nordic Ignite Angel Ambassador, board member of Eyrir Invest and member of Yale International Leadership Centre’s Advisory Council. She is the former chair of the Technology Development Fund in Iceland, which is Iceland’s largest grant fund and an important incubator for innovation in Iceland. She regularly advises on sustainability strategy, investments and management and builds on her experience with the United Nations, the World Economic Forum, the private and public sector.
