InnSæi was premiered in Iceland at the Reykjavik Film Festival (RIFF) on October 6, followed by screenings at Bio Paradis for several weeks. The day after me and Kristin participated in a panel on Promoting Peace with the Power of Media, an open discussions in collaboration with RIFF, at the opening seminar at HÖFÐI Reykjavik Peace Centre in the Ceremonial Hall of the University of Iceland.

Hrund og Vigdís full sizeInnSæi was received by a standing ovation by 900 people in the audience. We were deeply honoured that among the guests was the former president of Iceland, Vigdis Finnbogadóttir, who is not only a great supporter of arts and culture but also the first woman to be democratically president in the world.

InnSæi got 4,5 stars (of 5) in Morgunblaðið’s review about the film. The film got some great media coverage, on radio, TV, newspapers and social media, thanks to our PR genius Diljá Ámundadóttir and the InnSæi-team, which can be seen on our facebook page timeline.

And here is a video from the premiere.
